The price of removing a tattoo depends on factors such as size and color. On average, we remove tattoos with six to eight laser treatments. There is a minimum of six weeks between treatments.

Removing a tattoo can be painful, especially on sensitive areas and with larger tattoos. The flashes of the laser break down the pigment in your skin so that your body can process and eliminate it. Many clients experience this as an uncomfortable sensation. It’s comparable to having an elastic band snapped against your skin.
The latest generation YAG laser is ideal for removing dark tattoo ink. The laser beam shatters the dark pigment into tiny fragments. Some of it is expelled during the healing process, while the rest is cleared away by your body’s cellular metabolism. Red ink is removed using the KTP lens. After the treatment, a white haze may appear over the tattoo, known as lasersnow. Additionally, blisters or small blisters may form on the skin a few hours after the procedure. In the days following the laser treatment, scabs often form. This is a normal reaction of the skin and a sign of healing. After two weeks, your skin should look normal again.
Another way to “remove” a tattoo is through a cover-up tattoo. This means we place a new tattoo over your old one, effectively hiding it so it’s no longer visible. Sometimes, we recommend first undergoing a laser treatment to lighten the tattoo, ensuring it’s completely invisible. This makes the cover-up easier to apply and results in a better outcome.
The YAG laser we use for tattoo removal is also effective for removing pigmentation spots and age spots. Age spots on your face, hands, legs, and arms can be permanently removed. Often, one treatment is enough. However, you should consult with your doctor beforehand to ensure the spot can be safely treated. At our tattoo shop, we also offer partial laser treatment. During this procedure, which involves approximately five sessions, we fade the tattoo with the laser and then tattoo a new design over it.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?
On average, you will need six to eight treatments to remove a tattoo, but sometimes a tattoo can be gone after just two treatments. The number of sessions you need depends on the amount of pigment, grain size, color, and your skin type.
Can all ink colors be removed?
No, not all ink colors can be removed. Black and red ink, for example, are relatively easy to laser off, but colors like yellow, orange, blue, and green cannot be laser removed.
Will I get scars from the laser treatment?
No, scars do not form. In the first two weeks, a white layer may develop with blisters or small sores. These will disappear on their own. However, this can vary from person to person. If the tattoo is already “on the skin,” it means there is already some scar tissue present. In such cases, the scar tissue will not disappear with the laser removal. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that no scar will form in these cases.
Will my tattoo disappear completely?
After the laser treatment, a tattoo may sometimes disappear completely, while in other cases, it may not be possible to make it entirely invisible. Before starting, we will let you know whether it’s possible to fully remove your tattoo and how many sessions you will need.
What should I keep in mind after the laser treatment?
For two weeks after the treatment, you should avoid taking baths, going to the sauna, being in the sun, or using a tanning bed. During this period, swimming is also not allowed, whether in pools or natural water. The final result of the treatment will be clearly visible about two weeks after the tattoo removal.
