At the moment, nose piercing is a very big trend in the world. There is also a large choice of piercings. Nostril piercing
We always pierce the nostril with a small button or stone. This has no sharp edges or ends, so that the piercing heals as quickly as possible. After the healing period of about 8 weeks, you can possibly have a ring placed.
Septum
Septum is another word for nasal septum. It is the piece of skin that separates the two nostrils. The septum piercing is pierced through this part of the nose, in the so-called sweet spot. This is the thin piece of skin between the cartilage. This is usually done with a horseshoe jewelry.

A horseshoe, or circular barbell, is a curved bar shaped like a half circle. You can flip it inside your nostril so that the piercing isn’t visible to others. This way, the hole doesn’t close, and you can discreetly keep wearing your piercing when it’s not allowed or considered inappropriate.
The healing period is about 8 weeks. For a bridge piercing, it takes longer: approximately 4 to 6 months. Just like with all piercings, proper aftercare is very important. Keeping the piercing clean significantly reduces the risk of infection. Be sure to follow your piercer’s instructions carefully and review our aftercare tips.
